Bíňa
Bíňa () is a municipality and village in the Nové Zámky District in the Nitra Region of south-west Slovakia. Geography The village lies at an elevation of 132 metres (433 ft) and covers an area of 23.501 km² (9.074 mi²). History In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1135 written as Byn. Earlier the Romans built a fortress here and in 173 emperor Marcus Aurelius wrote his famous diary in this region during the wars against quadi in the Marcomannic Wars. Later, after the foundation of the Árpád age Hungary, king Stephen I of Hungary gave the region to Bény, son of Hont, the count of the county Hont. During the time of early Christianity every 10 villages was ordered to build a church. Several rotunda have been built in this time, among others the rotunda of Bény, too. Bina Basnett is an Indian politician in Sikkim and the president of Hamro Sikkim Party (HSP). Political career Bina Basnett completed her schooling in 2003 from Gangtok Deorali Girls SSS, she pursued her MBBS from SMIMS Tadong (CRH). After completing MBBS in 2009, she continued her Doctor of Medicine at SMIMS Gangtok in 2013 and later practiced and worked as a lecturer in Lady Hardinge Medical College New Delhi. Bina Avrile Guiducci is a retired Italian shotgun shooter who won three world titles in 1969–1979. She was the first Italian woman to win a world title in shooting. She retired around 1992. Bina Abramowitz (; 30 October 1865 – 1953) was a Yiddish actress. Biography Early life Bina Fuchs was born on 30 October 1865 in Saratov, Russia. Her father was a cartoonist, soldier and tailor. Career At fourteen, Fuchs joined the chorus of Sigmund Mogulesko’s company in Odessa after auditioning—she went unpaid for four months. She later acted with Naphtali Goldfaden’s troupe, where she had a salary and was typecast as mother characters. After her marriage to fellow actor Max Abramowitz, who she met while travelling with the troupe, the pair toured Russia. In 1886, she went to the United States with Mogulesko and played with many Yiddish companies, gaining roles in many films produced in America. Robert "Robbie" Bina (born January 4, 1983) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman who is currently an unrestricted free agent. He most recently played for the Grizzlys Wolfsburg of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). A graduate of the University of North Dakota, Bina overcame a serious injury in his sophomore year to start his professional career in American minor league hockey in 2008.
